Attention Students: There has been some confusion about some of the requirements for entries. To clarify, please note the following:
1. There are no limitations on square footage. The space you design can be as large or as small as you like.
2. You are not limited on which Daltile products you can use for your design. In fact, you are encouraged to use multiple product lines, and any of Daltile products can be used.
3. You are limited to one design board. There are no requirements for the dimensions of your board, however, the file size cannot exceed 50 MB. You do not need to provide a high-resolution file – 72 dpi is sufficient. A 24" x 36" board at 72 dpi will typically be less than 50 MB.
4. The deadline for entries is November 1, 2011. This is a final deadline, and there will be no extensions.

Competition Details
For students preparing for a career in the world of interior design, a chance to demonstrate their creativity and skills to the entire design community is invaluable. The Daltile Interior Design Scholarship competition, presented by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Foundation, gives you that chance.

For your entry, you may choose to design any residential space - a kitchen, bath, bedroom, living room, even an indoor/outdoor living space. Commercial spaces are also acceptable.

A Grand Prize of a $10,000 scholarship will be awarded to the student whose design is chosen as the overall winner. In addition, that student's design will be displayed in the Daltile exhibit at SURFACES 2012, and the student will be Daltile's guest at SURFACES 2012, January 24-26 in Las Vegas.

First, Second and Third prize winners will each receive a $5,000 Scholarship, and ten Merit Winners will each receive $2,500 in Scholarships.
